This is the Development site for the Tensioncore Server Platform.
The Tensioncore Server Platform Project is a project to unify all aspects of what makes up modern web servers (starting with Microsoft server products), this includes such things as: - Web Server (IIS, Apache, etc.)
- Mail Server (SMTP, POP3, IMAP)
- File/Application Server
- Database (SQL, MySQL, Postgres, etc.)
- File Services (Active Directoy, Virtual Directoies)
- Firewall/Load balancing
- Error/event Logging
- Administration Services (phpmyadmin, phpwebadmin)
By "unify", we mean we want to make an installation process, that automates the installation of all necessary programs, and services. We want to have your web or file server up and running with little or no attendance during installation, and make it possible to have a full blown web server ready for webhosting with capabilites such as: ASP.Net, PHP, SQL (any flavour), FTP access, Virtual Directories, online Database Administration, online Server administration, DNS services, and more.
We want to make the installation and setup process of a web server to the point you can have a complete server take less than one day, rather than up to 3 or 4 weeks.
